You're probably here because of the title, My Prepstead Journey.  I still can't believe that at the ripe old age of 63, I'm endeavoring to do this.  I have a small piece of land in the midwest and I plan to start a homesteading journey.  I want to start by going to and assessing the land, then putting a tiny home onto the land, stay in the home and live a by coastal life while I build out the larger home.  That is my initial plan but you will have to keep reading to get the rest of this story;

 I am usually intraverted so my words are probably not very eloquent.  This is the best way to share my journey (at least this part of it) with all of you.  Mostly I will write this blog to my descendants (that will make this simpler for me).

My future hopes for my prepstead is to have a few animals, a garden. and a sustainable life on the prairie.  I hope that you'll follow my journey. I'll share goals, hobbies like woodworking and carpentry, decorating and crafting and of course cooking.  I'm even going to try my hand at building (yipes!).
