Y ou're probably here because of the title, My Prepstead Journey. I still can't believe that at the ripe old age of 63, I'm endeavoring to do this. I have a small piece of land in the midwest and I plan to start a homesteading journey. I want to start by going to and assessing the land, then putting a tiny home onto the land, stay in the home and live a by coastal life while I build out the larger home. That is my initial plan but you will have to keep reading to get the rest of this story; I am usually intraverted so my words are probably not very eloquent. This is the best way to share my journey (at least this part of it) with all of you. Mostly I will write this blog to my descendants (that will make this simpler for me). My future hopes for my prepstead is to have a few animals, a garden. and a sustainable life on the prairie. I hope that you'll follow my journey.
